So with your first being a chemical and both after not implanting even though your receptive and with same protocol that would raise some questions. Like it almost gets more effective at destroying the embryo. I’ve heard natural killer cell activity increases after the first pregnancy. I’ll continue 20mg prednisone daily until I’m out of the first trimester. This was my 3rd FET of PGS normal embryos and I tested positive starting 3dpt. I convinced my RE to add a higher dose of prednisone (steroid that suppresses the immune system) this round and I’m happy to say that so far things are going quite well. I have a pre-existing auto immune disease and researched on my own and am pretty sure that’s been my issue. Most REs don’t even test for it (including mine). Immune issues are widely disputed amongst RE’s due to there not being a ton of research based evidence on it yet. If you’re receptive when transferring and embryos are good quality and PGS normal that would be my next guess. I would look into possible immune based implantation failure (natural killer cells, etc.) (check out Dr. Does anyone have any advice as to what I should do moving forward? Additional tests? Has anyone been in my situation before and found success after three fails? The first chemical does give me a little hope, but obviously doesn't help my situation out now. I keep debating whether it's the embryo or my uterus. It pains me to think my body is just killing perfectly good embryos with no explanation. I need to put in my last PGS embryo before insurance will let me do another retrieval, but before I do, I know I wouldn't be comfortable doing the exact same protocol again. I want to believe that it's all just a numbers game and I just need to keep trying, but my gut tells me something has got to be wrong as I've had 3 fails in a row now with PGS. My lining isn't the thickest, but it's not terrible, it's normally a 7mm-8.5mm before progesterone. Other than that, I don't have any other symptoms. I've been diagnosed with unexplained infertility but also another doc has said I have PCOS as I have many follicles and am an over responder to meds. I'm having my WTF appointment with the RE on Tuesday, I'm not sure what to expect and what she will suggest. Same protocol and I just got another BFN. So we went ahead and put in the third embryo last week. So we did a mock cycle and the results from my ERA came back as normal and receptive and so did my other biopsy. She also send off another biopsy to her lab to make sure my lining didn't indicate any infections or inflammation. My RE suggested we do an ERA to make sure we are transferring at the right time. Chalked it up to bad luck and did another fet immediately after.BFN. I felt all the pregnancy symptoms, fatigue, sore boobs, cramping.never felt like that before in my two years prior trying to conceive so I knew ivf helped us get farther than we've ever gotten. My first fet ended in a very early chemical pregnancy (beta was only an 8 at 9dp5dt). I thought it was a slam dunk for sure to make our family. I've only done one ivf retrieval so far, got 14 eggs, made 6 blastocysts to send off to testing and ended up with 4 normal pgs tested embryos. Just wanted some advice and to see if there are any others that have been in my situation.
